EWMA-DEWU 2026 in Bremen, Germany 6-8 May 2026

As an Official Interest Group of ISTAP, we are proud to share news of the upcoming European Wound Management Association’s 36th Congress, taking place jointly with the DEWU Deutscher Wundkongress from 6–8 May 2026 in Bremen, Germany.


Organised in collaboration with the German Wound Congress (DEWU Deutscher Wundkongress), the association of national German-speaking associations (WundD.A.CH), the German Chronic Wounds Initiative (ICW), and the German Wound Council (Deutscher Wundrat e. V.), this congress will bring together international leaders in wound care.


What to Expect at EWMA-DEWU 2026

International abstract submission

  • Abstracts submitted in English are evaluated by the EWMA Scientific Committee and considered for the English spoken programme.

  • Submission deadline: 4 December 2025, 23:59 CET


German abstract submission

  • Abstracts submitted in German are evaluated by the EWMA Scientific Committee and considered for the German spoken programme.

  • Submission deadline: 11 December 2025, 23:59 CET


NB! Please note that you cannot submit your abstract in one language and present it in the other.


Notification of acceptance or rejection will be sent to all submitters in February 2026.
