As we approach the end of 2023, we would like to express our gratitude to you for participating in the ISTAP Membership Survey. Your feedback matters to us and it has given us valuable insights that will shape the future of our organization in 2024.

We are delighted to be hosting more educational events in 2024, including an educational webinar series, so please look out for more announcements with further details soon. In particular, we invite you to save the date for our 3rd annual Global World Without Skin Tears Day on 18 April 2024. Our Board of Directors are also working hard on new research initiatives we hope to share with you in the new year.
We would like to remind you that as a member you can access a number of publications, tools, and resources to download on our website at www.skintears.org/articles and www.skintears.org/resources.
The members that completed the survey told us that they access the ISTAP website relatively frequently, with over 60% saying they access the website either once every few months or at least once per month.
In the member survey, most respondents agreed that it was either fairly easy (52.7%) or very easy (28.4%) to access the information they are looking for on the website. Our website is for you our members, so we are committed to making and more user-friendly. Your feedback on the website's accessibility has been instrumental in enabling us to make it better, and we will continue to add resources and tools to provide you with a comprehensive experience.
It was encouraging to see that within the last year, members downloaded documents or resources to enhance their own knowledge (62%), disseminate information in their workplace (64%), or inform organizational policy (36%).
As we look forward to 2024, the ISTAP Board of Directors have taken note of your preferences as ISTAP Members to be given access to new research and learning materials, as well as attending more online or in-person webinars and seminars on skin tears. We are excited to be announcing new events and initiatives that will soon be available to ISTAP Members.
