Cinthia Viana Bandeira Da Silva appointed as ISTAP Treasurer

Following our recent Annual General Meeting, we are pleased to announce that additional governance actions have created new leadership opportunities within the International Skin Tear Advisory Panel (ISTAP), including to fill vacancies. At the 2026 AGM Steven Smet was elected as ISTAP President-Elect at the AGM. With Steven's transition to this new role, the position of Treasurer became vacant.

Following a call for nominations, the ISTAP Board of Directors voted to appoint Cinthia Viana Bandeira Da Silva RN, ETN, MSc, PhD Candidate as ISTAP Treasurer for the remainder of the current term. Please join us in warmly welcoming Cinthia to the ISTAP Executive Committee and congratulating her on her appointment.
