Karen Ousey

Karen was Director for the Institute of Skin Integrity and Infection Prevention (ISIaIP) at the University of Huddersfield. With over 200 high-quality peer-reviewed publications, Karen has a robust research background in skin integrity and infection prevention. She has secured funding from various prestigious sources and leads the Masters modules in Tissue Viability and Wound Management and Leg Ulcer Managment. Karen moved into the role of ISTAP President after serving as ISTAP President-Elect from 2022 to 2024.
