I am a CAPES-funded PhD fellow in the Graduate Program in Adult Health Nursing at the University of São Paulo School of Nursing, Brazil. I hold a Master’s degree in Health Sciences from the same program. I completed a residency in Cardiopneumology at the Heart Institute of the Hospital das Clínicas, University of São Paulo Medical School, and a WCET-accredited specialization in Stomatherapy at Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein. My research focuses on skin tears, skin integrity, wound prevention, and evidence-based nursing care. I am also a member of the Stomatherapy Research Group at the University of São Paulo School of Nursing and serve as the Latin America Portuguese-speaking Director of the International Skin Tear Advisory Panel (ISTAP).
