Salvacion Cruz is currently working as a Wound Care Nurse at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City since 2005. She is past Vice President of Filipino Nurses Association in the Emirates (FNAE). She is the Facilitator of the International Interprofessional Wound Care Course (IIWCC-Abu Dhabi) from University of Toronto since 2012 up to present. She is a member of International Interprofessional Wound care Group (IIWCG). She is also a lecturer and marker for Ostomy Care Management (OCM) in Abu Dhabi. She is a member of the organizing committee of Abu Dhabi Wound Care Conference. She is one of the planning committee member of World Union Wound Healing Society (WUWHS2020) and currently serves as education committee member of International Affairs for WUWHS. She is currently the International Delegate representing United Arab Emirates for World Council of Enterostomal Therapists (WCET). She presented as speaker from several wound care conferences, symposiums, in-services and education training. She was co-author some published articles in Wounds International and WCET.

She completed her masters for Clinical Skin Integrity and Wound Management at University of Hertfordshire in UK. In 2009, Salvacion has completed the International Interprofessional Wound Care Course (IIWCC-KSA) from University of Toronto.

Salvacion has completed her BS Nursing Degree from University of the City of Manila (Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila) where she received an award of excellence for community nursing.
